The majority of all respondents (79%) find it particularly frustrating
to wait for a slow page to view or to download. Runner-up in frustrating
Web users are links that don’t work (60%).
Not being able to find information they are looking for frustrates 55% of the Web users. 34% are frustrated because they are not able to print exactly the pieces of information they want to print. 28% are frustrated because they can’t find a page they know is out there. Not being able to efficiently organize the information they want frustrates 24% of the respondents, 14% are frustrated because they are not able to return to a page they once visited. Not being able to visualize where one has been and where one can go frustrates 12% of the answering Web users. 11% are frustrated because they aren’t able to determine where they are. Only 9% are frustrated because they have to pay for the network connection. 5% are frustrated by other than the above mentioned characteristics of the Web. |
